Alessio is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Italian Carabinieri Corps. He attended the Army Military Academy and graduated in Law and in Security Science. During his 25 year of duty Alessio was in command of various Carabinieri’s Local Offices ranging from the north to the south of the peninsula. Then, during the last fifteen years of his career ha had been responsible for several investigative and undercover units in Sicily, Naples and Milan, conducting a number of critical investigations in:
- – robbery and homicide
- – gangs (latinos and chinese)
- – organized crime
- – white collar crime
- – fugitive search
- – food and drugs
In 2003, as a recognition of such an experience, he attended the 216th session of the National Academy at the Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy in Quantico (VA). As a firearms instructor, he started studies in the dynamic of gunfights, violent crimes, murders, armed robbery and home invasions, teaching law enforcement agencies, military and citizens how to increase their chance of survival in critical incidents. A specific issue on which he focuses his attention during each course is the mental and body state changes during gunfights.
In 2011 he opened his own combat shooting school called tirooperativo.it
CFS’ approach starts from what really happens both in the brain and in the body of people who fight and work in conjunction with natural’s high arousal reaction.
