DESCRIPTION:The Intuitive Defensive® Shooting Program is an Intuitive shooting program designed to help the student be more Efficient with a defensive firearm in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident.  The Defensive Focus of this program makes it appropriate for any individual who is interested in training to defend self and family. \nThis course is two full days of intense training\, teaching and practice. The course will cover the following topics:\nFundamentals of Defensive Shooting & Intuitive Skill Development\nCombat Accuracy\nLateral Motion\nThe Balance of Speed & Precision\nThe Critical Incident Reload\nVolume of Fire\nRealistic Training for Multiple Target Engagement\nUnderstanding the Body’s Natural Reactions during a Dynamic Critical Incident.\nThe Skill Development Cycle\nOne Handed & Weak Handed Shooting\nNon-Diagnostic Linear Malfunction Clearing\nShooting in Motion (When\, How & Why) \nThe Intuitive Defensive® Shooting Course is not designed to make you the best shooter you can be on the range\, rather its goal is to help you quickly develop fundamental skills that you can apply in a worst case scenario defensive shooting situation. \nCFS is based on years of constantly evolving information about how the body works and what really happens during Dynamic Critical Incidents and has been heavily influenced by the diverse group of instructors that are certified to teach it and the thousands of students who have been through courses all around the world. The program features a variety of specialty drills and training methods that the student will be able to utilize in the their own practice after the course in order to continue to develop their abilities.\nStudents will fire between 1000-1200 rounds. \nEQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:\nDefensive Handgun\nEye and Hearing Protection\n1000-1200 Rounds of Ammo\nSturdy Belt\nGood Quality Holster (Strong Side Hip or Appendix Carry)\n3 Magazines — for semi-autos with double stack magazines; 5 magazines for semi-autos with single stack magazines\nDouble Magazine Pouch (for semi-auto users)\nWeather appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes \nPlease call if you have questions or need help with equipment. \n
